Law enforcement officials are still searching for clues surrounding a homicide that left a Garden Grove man dead last month.
A Garden Grove Police Department media release states that shortly after 4 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 21, a call came out to dispatch regarding a man suffering from gunshot wounds who was found in the 12600 block of Westminster Avenue.
Officers arrived at the location to find the victim, who has since been identified as Garden Grove resident Mario Barrios, suffering from several gunshot wounds to his upper torso.
Barrios, 67, succumbed to his injuries at a nearby hospital.
Garden Grove police were not able to provide a description of a suspect or any other further details surrounding the fatal shooting.
