MADISON COUNTY, Ala. (WHNT) - According to the Owens Cross Roads Police Chief, two girls have been returned to the Pathways of Madison County facility after three ran away Sunday night.
Chief Jason Dobbins told News 19 that three girls left the Pathways facility Sunday night. One was caught before she got off the property, and the second was caught around 2:30 on Monday morning.
Dobbins said that the third girl is "still on the loose."
The city council initially decided not to renew the business's license in January, following a riot at the facility in September 2024. That decision led to several months of back and forth between the city and the mental health center.
