Update: All lanes of I-64 bridge in Charleston reopen after major pothole repair

Triton Construction Inc. out of Putnam County will patch the concrete bridge deck of the bridge, which takes Interstate 64 over the Kanawha River in downtown Charleston. Triton will install a membrane on top of the existing concrete and then lay down 2 inches of asphalt.

The work will take place from 6 p.m.-6 a.m. during the week and around the clock on weekends. Work is expected to be complete by the end of November. On Monday, the left two eastbound lanes will be closed on the b
