FARGO – The Dakota Marker Game is returning to primetime.
North Dakota State and South Dakota State’s annual rivalry football game will be played under the lights at Dana J. Dykhouse Stadium at 7 p.m. on Oct. 25. The TV network will be ESPN2 or ESPNU.
The exact time and network will be determined next Monday.
The television networks unveiled their selections for Oct. 25 earlier Monday. The Houston - Arizona State matchup is slated for 7 p.m. that night on either ESPN2 or ESPNU. The Bison - Jackrabbits game will air on the opposite network of that game.
Which channel gets the game could determine how big a viewership number the game gets. ESPN2 is available to around 70 million viewers, while ESPNU is at 36 million, according to industry figures from last football season.
