Title: Taylor Swift's Vancouver Concert to Feature in New Documentary

Fans who missed Taylor Swift’s final concert of the Eras Tour at Vancouver’s B.C. Place will soon have a chance to experience it. Swift announced on Monday that a documentary package will be available for viewing. The six-part docuseries, titled "Taylor Swift/The Eras Tour/The End of an Era," will begin airing on Disney+ on December 12.

The docuseries will provide a behind-the-scenes look at the Eras Tour, which is recognized as the highest-grossing concert tour in history. Alongside the docuseries, a new concert film featuring the Vancouver finale will also be released. The Eras Tour, which spanned 51 cities, kicked off in March 2023 and concluded on December 8, 2024, with three performances in Vancouver. The tour grossed over $2 billion and attracted more than 10 million attendees.

Aleesha Harris, arts editor for Vancouver Sun and Province, reviewed the Vancouver concerts and highlighted the extensive filming setup. "Cameras whizzed overhead, operators joined the superstar on stage, and there was even a track running around the floor section for a camera rig to travel the perimeter," she noted.

The first two episodes of the docuseries, along with the concert film, will premiere on December 12, with subsequent episodes airing weekly for the following two weeks. According to Disney, the series will offer an "intimate look at Taylor’s life" and will feature appearances by performers, family members, and friends, including Gracie Abrams, Sabrina Carpenter, Ed Sheeran, and Florence Welch.

Notably, the Vancouver concert marked the first time Swift performed the entire set of her album "The Tortured Poets Department," which she released during the tour. Earlier this year, a concert film titled "Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour" was released in theaters and became the highest-grossing concert film of all time. Following Swift's announcement, Disney shares rose by 1.2 percent on Monday morning.
