The new mayor of New Orleans has launched a website to update the public on her transition into office.

Mayor-elect Helena Moreno launched NewDirectionNOLA.com, where residents can sign up for updates and apply for jobs in her administration. Advertisement

Moreno did not announce her transition team in the update but did say in an issued statement that those appointments would be announced in the coming days.

Moreno said Sunday that although she is excited and grateful to win, it's now time to get to work.

According to the statement released by her team regarding the transition website, Moreno said her goals for her first 100 days will focus on overhauling city government so that it works more efficiently and delivers “Super Bowl-level” coordination
