Sam Kerr, still starved of minutes in her meticulously managed comeback to football, has again gone goalless, playing just one more bit part as Chelsea still eked out another narrow 1-0 win over Tottenham in their Women's Super League title defence.

On a day when her Matildas colleague Caitlin Foord had a decisive hand in the early goal that earned Arsenal their own 1-0 win over Dario Vidosic's Brighton & Hove Albion, champions Chelsea relied on a stunning winner from England midfielder Keira Walsh to earn the win that keeps them on top.
