CHAPEL HILL — A documentary about UNC football is “still a work in progress,” according to Bill Belichick .

“We’re working through a few logistics on it,” Belichick said Oct. 13 when asked about the status of a Hulu series about the Tar Heels ’ 2025 season. “So, no real update at this time. But there will be something.”

A source with knowledge of the situation on Oct. 7 told the Fayetteville Observer/USA TODAY Network that “the show is no longer in development at Hulu.” The change of plans was first reported by Inside Carolina.

In August, Belichick announced the Hulu plan to his team in an announcement that was shared on social media, confirming in a video that UNC was set to have a “season-long documentary” in 2025.
