Srinagar, Oct 13: Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) Srinagar Circle has stated that it carried out a detailed documentation of an ancient temple which is submerged in a freshwater body in Manasbal area of central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district.

“In compliance of the direction of Minister of Culture, Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, a team of the Underwater Archaeology Wing (UAW) of the Archaeological Survey of India visited Kashmir and using advance scientific tools, carried out detailed documentation of ancient temple which is submerged in a freshwater body at Manasbal,” the ASI said in a statement.
