BEREA, Ohio (WKBN) -- The Cleveland Browns waived offensive tackle Thayer Munford Jr. on Monday afternoon.

Munford was signed off New England’s practice squad on Sept. 24 and was inactive the past three games.

Munford, who played high school football at Massillon, is in his fourth NFL season out of Ohio State. He was originally selected by Las Vegas in the seventh round of the 2022 NFL Draft.

He has appeared in 46 career games with 18 starts with the Raiders (2022-24). He spent the 2025 season on the Patriots’ practice squad.

The Browns host the Dolphins on Sunday at 1 p.m. on WKBN-27.
