An eight-month-old baby and two toddlers have been rushed to hospital after a trailer from a vehicle flew off the road and hit the pram on the pavement. ‌

The horror incident took place on October 13 at around 3.15pm on Pleasance Avenue in Dumfries and involved a trailer which is believed to have become detached from a Mitsubishi Outlander car. ‌

A probe has been launched and the road remains closed while cops scour the scene. ‌

The baby, a 14-month old tot and 18-month old were first rushed to Dumfries and Galloway Royal Infirmary before being blue-lighted to the Royal Children's Hospital in Glasgow where there injuries are being assessed.
