President Donald Trump isn’t planning on spending eternity inside the pearly gates.
Trump on Sunday shockingly told reporters that he doesn’t think he’ll get into heaven after he dies, the Daily Mail reported.
Trump broached the topic by referring to comments he made in August, when he claimed that his efforts to end Russia’s war with Ukraine were motivated by his desire to get into heaven.
“I’m being a little cute,” Trump said, referring to those previous comments. “I don’t think there’s anything going to get me in heaven.”
The president said, “I really don’t. I think I’m not maybe heaven-bound. I may be in heaven right now as we fly on Air Force One.”
After a pause, Trump added, “I’m not sure I’m going to be able to make heaven, but I’ve made life a lot better for a lot of people.”
