COLUMBIA, Mo. — Make that two Monday recruiting flips for Missouri football.

Two defensive backs who'd been committed to other programs switched their verbal pledges to the Tigers on Monday.

The first was Carter Stewart, a three-star safety from Pearland, Texas. He'd been committed to Utah.

The second was Brody Jones, a three-star cornerback from Fayetteville, Arkansas, who'd been committed to Cincinnati.

The pair of flips gives Mizzou 18 prospects in the 2026 recruiting cycle. That class is now ranked No. 31 in the country and No. 11 in the Southeastern Conference by 247Sports.

The Tigers' 2026 class is now close to full with signing day still a little less than two months away.
