For months, two exit signs trailed Taylor Swift — in the bookshelves behind her Jimmy Fallon interview, in her "Fate of Ophelia" music video and in the final shot of a Good Morning America teaser — and fans finally know what they mean. A six-episode series and concert film on her record breaking Eras Tour are on the way.

The singer-songwriter announced the news through a trailer on "Good Morning America" on Oct. 13, her favorite number. The 99-second promo clip shows Swift's tour life behind the scenes, from her in a hotel room following a show to her cheering on the Kansas City Chiefs with her parents and publicist.

The first two episodes, and the final Eras Tour concert movie, will be released on Dec. 12. The next two episodes will go out on Dec. 19, and the last two episodes will drop on Dec. 26. Here's a breakdown of the trailer.

First 30 seconds

At the top of the trailer, Swift walks toward the LED wall backstage about to open to her "Speak Now" era. She's standing in a purple and silver gown that surfaced in Milan, Italy.

"People like to talk about phenomenons," she says as a montage of clips show crews setting up in Wembley Stadium, her makeup artist Lorrie Turk dabbing her eye in a dressing room and a rehearsal of her in orange and black striped boots. For the "I Can Do It With a Broken Heart" music video, at 1:30, her Christian Louboutin Gael knee high boots were red and black.

Swift smiles on a couch next to her mom, Andrea Swift, and a bouquet of orange roses.

"Almost as if it were pieces falling into place," Swift's voiceover continues. Workers set up a tower inside Vancouver's BC Place Stadium, the final location of the Eras Tour.

At 0:12 is a shot Swifties are sure to pause and look at closely. Six columns of the singer's songs are pinned to the wall. Column one includes songs from her first album: "A Place in this World," "Cold As You," "The Outside" and "Tied Together with a Smile." The songs go in order of her discography. The next column has songs from two albums, "Fearless" ("Jump Then Fall" and "Today was a Fairytale") and "Speak Now" ("Mine"). Column three is from "Red": "Everything Has Changed," "Starlight" and "Begin Again." Column four is from "1989": "You are in Love," "New Romantics" and "Slut!" Column five is from "Lover": "Lover," "The Man" and "The Archer." Column six is from "Folklore": "Seven," "August" and "This is Me Trying."

Only the three "Lover" tracks and song "August" made it to the set list of the first year of the Eras Tour.

The shot cuts to Swift working out in a gym, presumably Dogpound in New York, with a ponytail and gold chain. During her Time magazine person of the year interview she said she would do intense cardio there to prepare for the Eras Tour. "Every day I would run on the treadmill, singing the entire set list out loud. Fast for fast songs, and a jog or a fast walk for slow songs."

Next, Swift walks by section A13 in Miami wearing a yellow sweater and jeans while holding her cat Olivia Benson. The Instagram reel and TikTok was shared with the caption, "Back in the office… ."

At 0:14 she kisses Travis Kelce underneath the stage in her "Midnights" outfit. He is wearing the black ball cap and outfit he wore to the final show he saw in Indianapolis on Nov. 2, 2024.

"As if it just happened," she continues narrating.

At 0:21 Swift dives into the stage at State Farm Arena in Glendale, Arizona, which was the first concert of the two-year tour. So Swift has been planning a look behind the curtain for two years. The marquee banner around the stadium shows three Cardinals players: No. 81 Roy Green, No. 3 Carson Palmer and No. 11 Ernie Nevers.

"The Eras Tour wasn't when all the pieces fell into place," she says.

At 0:24 Swift cheers in a Kansas City Chiefs tee as her mom, dad, brother and publicist are seen clapping alongside her in a locker room that looks to be inside Hard Rock stadium. They were there for her Eras Tour shows and on the final concert night Oct. 20, 2024, the Chiefs played the 49ers at 4:25 p.m. ET. The Chiefs won 28-18.

"This tour was just when every single one of us who had done so much work, pushing inch by inch, to where we all clicked together," she says as her stylist Joseph Cassell Falconer is seen pulling her "A Lot Going on at the Moment" tee for "22."

At 0:27 Swift's bassist Amos Heller and guitarist Max Bernstein do a sound check in Hard Rock Stadium.

Several of her guest stars appear in the trailer including Sabrina Carpenter, who came out on Oct. 26, 2024, in New Orleans; Ed Sheeran, who joined her Aug. 15, 2024, in London; Florence Welch, who performed "Florida!!!" in London and Miami; and Gracie Abrams, who sang in a white dress on Nov. 16, 2024.

30 seconds on

The final two-thirds of the trailer have a couple notable moments including Kelce carrying her on June 23, 2024, inside Wembley Stadium.

There's a home video of Swift's grandmother Marjorie Finlay playing piano with a 16-month-old Swift sitting on her legs. Swift sang a performance dedicated to her late grandma, whose operatic voice is a part of the production, every night of the Eras Tour. Fans would typically hold up their phones' flashlights during the "Evermore" track.

Thanks to eagle-eyed Swifties who kept notes on each of her 149 concerts, we can tell the docuseries includes shots from Paris on May 11, 2024, when Swift wore a green and pink "1989" outfit. And of course, the famous gold-and-black "Reputation" bodysuit that debuted in Miami on Oct. 18, 2024, makes an appearance.

The trailer ends with Swift in a hotel room alongside her cat Benjamin Button taking off her eyelashes, drawing a bath and gearing up to sign 2,000 CDs.
