I t’s been a few years since I wrote a column that I cared dearly about: “She’s the Bomb.” It was my way of acknowledging women in Dallas who made an impact through their philanthropic work, civic-minded focus, and entrepreneurial spirit — quite simply, those who had a voice and presence. And, might I add, the subjects were all extremely private and did none of those things for praise or a spotlight.
