For 25 years, the Common Ground Foundation has been a guiding force in shaping the lives of young people across Chicagoland from those once unsure of their potential to those who simply needed someone to help ignite it.

Founded by Grammy and Academy Award–winning artist Common and led by his mother, Dr. Mahalia Hines, the foundation has become a beacon of hope, mentorship, and opportunity for Chicago’s youth.
