San Diego business and political leaders sought to strengthen the economic relationship with their Mexican counterparts Monday during the Regional Chamber of Commerce‘s 19th annual cross-border trade mission.
The delegation includes more than 110 people from both San Diego and Baja California, including the mayors of multiple cities and Mexican economic development specialists,
“The shared prosperity of San Diego and Tijuana depends upon collaboration. We are two cities, but one interconnected region linked by family, culture and commerce,” said San Diego Mayor Todd Gloria in a video press conference from Mexico City.
His counterpart, Ismael Burgueño from Tijuana, echoed that, saying, “Our objectives are clear: to reinforce our institutional presence before authorities and organizations
