MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Va. (WDBJ) - The competition is fierce in Montgomery County with local businesses bringing out their decorating skills for who has the best Halloween decorations.

They’re asking for your vote in the competition and your support this Halloween season.

It’s all part of a Halloween Window Display Contest hosted by the Montgomery County Chamber of Commerce. Every year, the Chamber invites local businesses to deck out their shops to draw in more visitors.

“When people do that, they’re not just supporting one small business,” said Terri Welch, a local business owner. “They’re supporting our whole community and they’re helping people live their dream.”
