BOISE, Idaho — The Idaho State Board of Medicine has issued an emergency order immediately suspending the medical license of a Boise psychiatrist facing felony sexual assault charges , who, according to the Ada County Sheriff's Office, cut off his monitoring device and fled to California after posting bail.

The California Highway Patrol confirmed that Alexander Brent Wills was arrested in Valencia, California, on Oct. 10.

Wills, 45, has not yet been extradited back to Idaho as of Oct. 13.

The Idaho State Board of Medicine suspended Wills' license (No. M-12500) through an emergency order filed in case No. 1842591, citing an immediate danger to public health and safety. The board simultaneously filed a formal complaint seeking permanent disciplinary action.
