A 21-year-old man is being remembered by his mother after he was shot and killed during a night out with friends near a nightclub in East Dallas.

Jacob Cuellar was among five people shot early Sunday morning, according to Dallas police. Surveillance video shows chaos breaking out seconds after a man threw several punches. Gunfire erupted, sending people running through the parking lot.

Moments later, a second camera angle captured another round of shots. One man appears to be struck and falls to the ground.

NBC 5 has blurred the video after investigators said some of the victims in the crowd were under 18.

“I feel like I’m still in shock. I don’t know how to react,” said Jacob’s mother, Maricela Cuellar, who did not want to appear on camera.
