(WHTM) -- Columbus Day is a holiday, which means no school for students, but this doesn't mean they were glued to screens all day.

Net Ninjas, owned and operated by coach Carley Furlow, hosted a tennis day camp for kids in grades K-5. Furlow said for the kids, it's a fun alternative to staying inside on their day off.

"My favorite part is just watching the kids at the beginning of the day," Furlow said. "Some of them absolutely do not want to be there. You can tell their parents forced them and then by the end of the day, I would say about 95% of the kids are enjoying it and they don't want to go home."
