EBENSBURG, Pa. – The Cambria County Commissioners held a marathon session of budget hearings with department heads Monday to start a week-long series of gatherings from which the county’s finances for 2026 will be determined.

Alex Ashcom, chief county clerk, said each department had to turn in their budget requests by Oct. 6. For the past week, he said he has reviewed those figures. ×
