HASTINGS, Neb. (KSNB) - Good Monday evening everyone. After basking in the 80s yesterday, temperatures have plunged over the past 24 hours. A much cooler, but seasonal day, with highs in the mid 50s to mid 60s. Clouds have also thickened up this afternoon with isolated spotty light rain showers east of highway 281. Isolated sprinkles will be possible anywhere across the area this evening and overnight. Low temperatures overnight falling into the mid 40s northwest to mid 50s southeast.
A better chance for widespread light rain comes Tuesday morning. Scattered showers will be possible throughout the day. The bulk of that rain looks to fall in the first half of the day.
