FRISCO, Texas — DeMarvion Overshown will soon be on the field again for the Dallas Cowboys, and soon actually does mean exactly that, in this case. The budding superstar linebacker has hinted for months that his return from a torn ACL that ended his 2024 season would be prior to Thanksgiving, and it appears he's about to hit that nail squarely on its head.
The team expects to begin his 21-day practice window from injured reserve as early as Week 8, per head coach Brian Schottenheimer, putting him ahead of schedule but right on par for the timetable Overshown set for himself long ago.
"In the next week or two, I would think," said Schottenheimer. "All signs are pointing to the next week or so, and I know he's got some very, very good reviews, and so I think we're getting really close."
