The antiques are in trouble and so is the furniture displaying them.

Yesteryears Antique Mall is temporarily closed due to extensive sewage water damage after flooding Saturday night in the basement of the Hart-Albin building on North Broadway in downtown Billings.

“We have a lot of water damage from Saturday night’s rain and have a restoration company helping us handle it,” YesterYears Antique Mall posted on Facebook Monday morning. “Our new Cuppy’s Cafe and candy area are total losses. Many of our vendors also have damage that will take some time to access.”

The damage was discovered Sunday morning when an employee came in to clean, and found sewer water backed up into the store, said owner Lucy Kramer.
