BOSTON — Jordan Harris made the most of his playing time on Monday.

The Bruins defenseman, filling in for the injured Hampus Lindholm , scored his first goal with the organization in Boston’s 4-3 loss to the Tampa Bay Lightning .

It was a little extra special for Harris, who’s a Haverhill native.

“It’s something I dreamed about,” Harris said after the game. “It’s something I’ve seen a thousand times on TV. Really special, especially able to do it here at home.”

“It’s hard to kind of describe — the feeling of being on the ice and just the loudness of the building and excitement and everything,“ he later added. ”There’s not really another place like it. So it’s a lot better being on this side of it than being an opponent. It’s a lot better playing here.“
