Notre Dame Prep Academy sophomore Clayton Liebman loves football.
He started playing flag football around the age of 5 and tackle football in the fifth grade.
And despite a recent injury that could have cost him everything, Clayton said he still loves the sport.
“I love it, it’s my passion,” Clayton, now 16, said. “I’m competitive and I like to win. I like to have the best team, make a difference on my team, be a big part of it.”
He said he especially enjoys the physical challenge the sport offers.
“Right after my games, it didn’t hurt, but the next day, when I woke up, oh my God! It hurt to get out of bed,” he said.
But he’s lucky ... and grateful ... he could eventually get out of bed after his last game on Oct. 24, 2024.
