REDSTONE ARSENAL, Ala. (WHNT) — Changes to gate operations are coming at Redstone Arsenal beginning Tuesday due to the federal government shutdown.

According to Team Redstone, operations at Gates 3, 8, 9, and 10 will stay unchanged.

The main changes are happening at Gate 1 and Gate 7. You can see the changes to hours at those gates, Monday through Friday, below:

• Gate 1 (Martin Rd East): Normal operations for Inbound and outbound traffic daily until 1:30 p.m. Then Outbound ONLY from 1:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

• Gate 7 (Martin Rd West): Normal operations for Inbound and outbound traffic daily until 1:30 p.m. Then Outbound ONLY from 1:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

After 1 p.m. Monday through Friday, all commercial and construction traffic must use Gate 9 (Rideout Road) Lane 8.
