BOISE, Idaho — Boise Airport (BOI) has said it is not currently airing a video of U.S. Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem blaming Democratic lawmakers for the government shutdown. However, the video has played on TSA-owned monitors.

The airport's Communication and Marketing Manager, Jennifer Kronberg, said the choice is "consistent with airport policy prohibiting commentary about political issues."

On Friday, Oct. 10, KTVB's Morgan Romero saw the video being played on TSA security monitors at the Boise Airport.

On Monday, Oct. 13, Kronberg told KTVB that the monitor in question is currently broken, so it is not playing the video at this time. She said TSA's IT department is working to fix the monitor. The video may begin to play on the TSA monitor after it is fixed.
