The United States Coast Guard pulled a person from the water off of Martha’s Vineyard Monday.
The crew on the Steamship Authority vessel M/V Island Home saw a person in the water while it was sailing from Vineyard Haven to Woods Hole around 3:19 p.m., according to WCVB .
A helicopter and people aboard the ferry were used to keep an eye out for the person in the water, according to the Vineyard Gazette.
The Coast Guard confirmed to WCVB that the person had been pulled from the water and taken to Air Station Cape Cod by 5:04 p.m. Their condition was unknown as of 5:21 p.m.
