DORCHESTER COUNTY, S.C. (WCBD) – Three juveniles accused of breaking into at least ten vehicles in Summerville's Oakbrook Village Apartments were arrested early Monday during a traffic stop, the Dorchester County Sheriff's Office said.

Dorchester County deputies were asked to assist the Summerville Police Department responding to active motor vehicle break-ins around 2:30 a.m. Monday morning.

Deputies saw a white Honda Civic when they arrived that had its headlights off. Responding officers attempted a traffic stop, but the driver of the vehicle refused to stop while continuing to drive at a low speed, DCSO said.

The car eventually stopped at the intersection of Bentons Lodge Road and Ladson Road, and deputies apprehended three juveniles.
