Dave Hughes has returned to hospital for further treatment six weeks on from his brutal injuries in the Legends Game.
The comedian ended the charity match in agony before being diagnosed with five broken ribs and a punctured lung.
His road to a full recovery continued this week after battling with his health again, undergoing a procedure to remove fluid from his lungs.
“The experts are draining a coupla litres of lung fluid into a goon bag for me,” Hughes wrote.
“Then it’s party time again.”
