LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KNWA/KFTA) — An annual report that has recently highlighted Arkansas as the state with the highest food insecurity is about to be no more.

Last month, the U.S. Department of Agriculture announced it would no longer release its Household Food Security Reports, which have been released annually since the 1990s. The department described the reports as "redundant, costly, politicized, and extraneous studies [that] do nothing more than fear monger."
