SALT LAKE CITY – The Elko, Nevada, Temple for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints was dedicated Sunday, Oct. 12. Elder Gary E. Stevenson of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles dedicated the temple, according to the church.

The temple was announced by the late President Russell M. Nelson during the April 2021 General Conference, according to a release from the church.

The newly dedicated place of worship is Nevada’s third dedicated temple, the church said in a release.
