ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- The Albany Symphony, Empire State Youth Orchestra (ESYO), and community members came together on Monday for the third annual Symphony Side-by-Side performance. It included musical selections from various films and television shows as well as symphonic classics.

The group practiced for weeks. The program included music from “Wicked,” “How to Train Your Dragon,” “Moana,” “Jurassic Park,” and more.

The project has grown in popularity. Nearly 500 people between the ages of 10 and 70 participated in the event. Organizers said it was a great way to bring singers and musicians of all skill levels together.
