SHAWINIGAN — Jiri Klima scored 20 seconds into overtime to lift the Shawinigan Cataractes to a 3-2 win over the visiting Val-d’Or Foreurs in Quebec Maritimes Junior Hockey League action on Monday.

Jacob Lachance and Félix Lacerte also scored for the Cataractes (4-2-1-1), who were outshot 27-21.

Benjamin Olivier and Philippe Veilleux scored for the Foreurs (3-4-1-1) who trailed 1-0 after the first period and 2-1 heading into the third. Maxime Coursol chipped in with two assists for the Foreurs.

Cataractes netminder Mathys Fernandez stopped 25 of 27 shots, while Vincent Moreau stopped 18 of 21 shots for the Foreurs.
