Two new tawny frogmouth chicks were hatched three days apart at Healesville Sanctuary in Parkville, Australia, in September.
The chicks hatched 3 days apart, according to the zoo.
"If anyone is familiar with The Muppets or Sesame Street, if you kind of think of those sorts of creatures with big eyes and weird body shapes, that's pretty much what they look like," said Louise Tegg, Healesville Sanctuary tawny frogmouth keeper.
She said the parents of the chicks, Kermit and Tiny, were "really attentive" and were taking it in turns to care for the chicks.
"Kermit does the bulk of the work during the day, so he'll be sitting on that nest, feeding those chicks regularly. And then they have a pretty good swap over of the parenting when it comes to late afternoon," she added.
