SAN CARLOS, Ariz. — Flooding in the San Carlos Apache Community has caused evacuations and road closures.

According to the San Carlos Apache Police Department Facebook page, the following roads are closed:

Old Winkleman Road Entrance to Beverly Hills, police said to park and wait at casino parking

San Carlos Bridge

Sam's Crossing and Aravaipa Wash (near the Gilson Wash Activity Center)

Tonto Street

Pinal Street

The San Carlos Apache Police Department said the following areas should be evacuated, and residents should seek higher ground:

7mile

Gilson Wash

Indian Hills

White Rock

Tufastone

North Gilson Wash

Aravaipa Road

Pinal Street

East of San Carlos Bridge

Farmer Station along bluff

Tarzan Valley

Route 6 between mileposts 6 and 7

Riverside, east of White Mountain Aven
