DES MOINES, Iowa —

The next era of Drake men's basketball began on Monday when the team hosted its annual media day. New head coach Eric Henderson takes over the program after Ben McCollum left for Iowa after one season.

Henderson has put together a brand new roster through the transfer portal and high school recruiting. There are just two players from last year's Drake team. Offseason bonding has been huge for this team, and one particular activity had everybody talking: paintball.
