HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - The Hawaiian Humane Society is calling out to the community to donate towels, blankets, and linens for sick animals.
The shelter says it’s seeing an influx of puppies and kittens with diseases like parvovirus and panleukopenia, and care supplies are running low. Once a sick animal has used a towel or blanket, it cannot be reused and is treated as a one-use item.
The shelter said they are going through supplies faster than they can keep up with.
You can drop off donations at the shelters Mō’iliʻili Campus or Kosasa Family Campus at Hoʻopili, open daily from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
