LAS VEGAS ( FOX5 ) — Public comment is open for an upcoming meeting set to discuss accusations against NV Energy for overcharging.

In May, FOX5 learned that the public utility company faces allegations of overcharging 80,000 customers, totaling at least $17 million. The Public Utilities Commission of Southern Nevada says it has been happening since 2001.

Tuesday morning, the commission says it’s taking public comment regarding its investigation. It’s expected to start at 11 a.m. at PUCN’s building located at 9075 West Diablo Road, Suite 250, Hearing Room A. It’s near Russell Road and the 215 beltway.
