Dharamshala, Oct 14 (UNI) Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kangra, Hemraj Bairwa, urged all sections of society to join hands in making the district tuberculosis (TB)-free.

He was presiding over a multi-sectoral review meeting of the TB-Free India Campaign held at the DC office in Dharamshala.

The meeting reviewed ongoing TB eradication efforts and chalked out the action plan for the coming month.

Officials from various departments, social organizations, and institutions attended, including Dr. Bhavani Singh Kushwaha, TB Officer, Central TB Division, and D. Dharma Rao, National Advisor for the Nikshay Mitra Initiative.

The Deputy Commissioner said that the fight against TB must become a people’s movement, involving every department, panchayat, institution, and citizen.
