In a way, this was a home game for Josh Naylor.

Well, a home country game for the Seattle Mariners ' first baseman.

And he loved the home country cooking.

Naylor blasted a late home run to put the exclamation point on the emphatic Mariners win in Game 2 of the ALCS to take a 2-0 series lead on the Toronto Blue Jays .

In the process, Naylor became the first Canadian-born player to homer in the MLB postseason as a visiting player in Canada, according to Mariners PR .

There have been three Canadian born players to homer for the Blue Jays in Canada during playoff games: Russell Martin, Michael Saunders and Vladimir Guerrero Jr.
