VANCOUVER — Monday’s score for the Vancouver Canucks was misleading. It was actually the St. Louis Blues 5, Kiefer Sherwood 2, the rest of the Canucks 0.

Vancouver completed its lost Thanksgiving Weekend by surrendering an early goal to St. Louis, then pressing themselves into other mistakes in a 5-2 loss. Saturday in Edmonton, the Canucks lost 3-1 to the Oilers.

They surrendered 72 shots and six goals (plus two empty-netters) while scoring three over the two games. The Canucks’ only goal from their top two lines was Brock Boeser’s spinning hook shot in Edmonton. Sherwood plays on what started Monday as the Canucks’ fourth line.
