For the team’s first win of the season, Olivia Freire and Lexie Zajac each provided a goal in Parsippany’s 2-1 victory over Passaic Valley in Parsippany.
Freire and Zajac both found the back of the cage in the first half to give Parsippany an early lead.
Despite a fourth quarter goal from Passaic Valley, Parsippany goalie Angelica Blair protected the lead, supplying 10 saves in the win as the junior has now amassed 217 saves on the year.
Parsippany’s Leah Collins had an assist.
Parsippany (1-11) travels to St. Elizabeth 4:20 p.m. Oct. 14. Passaic Valley (2-10-1) travels to Immaculate Heart 4:15 p.m. Oct. 16.
