The competition is heating up on season 28 of “The Voice.”

During the Battles, which kicked off on Monday, Oct. 13, contestants duet with another singer from their team. Their coach then decides which one of them advances to the Knockouts.

Each of the season 28 coaches — Snoop Dogg, Niall Horan, Reba McEntire, and Michael Bublé — get one save and one steal during the Battles.

Four celebrity mentors known as Battle Advisors team up with “The Voice” coaches to help contestants prepare for their performances. The Battle Advisors for season 28 are Lizzo (Team Snoop), Lewis Capaldi (Team Niall), Nick Jonas (Team Reba), and Kelsea Ballerini (Team Bublé).
