PROVIDENCE – Rhode Island has some of the best colleges and universities in the country, according to two new rankings by U.S. News & World Report and The Wall Street Journal .

U.S. News & World Report ranked all nine of Rhode Island's four-year colleges and universities, while the Wall Street Journal picked six to rank.
