The Indian cricket team is all set to play three-match ODI series against Australia under the leadership of Shubman Gill. When India’s squad was announced, one of the most shocking decisions that came was Rohit Sharma being replaced as captain by Shubman Gill.

The selectors are aiming for a long term view and ODI World Cup which will be played in 2027. But the upcoming Australia tour holds extreme significance as it marks the come back of two Indian legends – Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma. The duo have already retired from Tests and T20I format and will just be playing ODIs.
