A new report has found that a Scottish city has been crowned the most driver-friendly in the UK, while another ranks among the hardest to navigate. ‌

With darker days, colder weather and more challenging road conditions setting in, Scotland’s drivers are preparing for the months ahead. The country’s routes are famed for their dramatic scenery but are also known for winding roads, steep inclines and congested city centres that can unsettle even experienced motorists. ‌

A recent BBC report revealed that drivers in the Highlands could soon be given “T-plates” to identify those unfamiliar with local roads, a move aimed at reducing accidents in some of Scotland’s most testing terrain. ‌
