LAKE CHARLES, La. (KPLC) - Another quick warmup is ahead today with a couple nice days still left before changes begin to arrive.

The forecast Tuesday through Wednesday will look much like the past few days with comfortable mornings and warm afternoons. Morning lows will range from the mid 50s to the mid 60s from north to south; while afternoon highs reach the mid to upper 80s. Rain is unlikely through Thursday as well, and this will just add to our fire danger with a breeze around each day.

By Thursday southerly winds should bring the humidity back up and that means it will feel more uncomfortable outside. With the humidity rising we may see a few isolated showers by Friday.

And we have a better chance of rain on Saturday ahead of a weak frontal boundary. I do not expect it to rain all
